LUCKY GAL AM I ~

IMG_3160Thirty years ago today, I said “I do” to an incredible human being.

A man who isn’t always right, but always admits when he’s wrong.

A man who has made mistakes and learned from them.

A man who always strives to be better.

A man who says “maybe it’s me.”

A man who isn’t afraid to confront weakness to get stronger.

A man who fills my life with laughter, joy and really bad jokes.

A Hall of Fame, record-holding athlete who walked away from serious competition in his sport to be an even better father to his three sons.

A man who loves the elderly, and reveres the Greatest Generation.

A man who has empathy for people hurting.

A man who has risen to the top of his field, self-taught.

A man who endures my utter devotion to Paul McCartney, knowing second place is better than nothing! : )

A man who is GOOD to his mother.

A man who cries at sad movies.

A man who thinks women are Much better people than men.

A man who proved that some things are worth fighting for.

A man who always wants to help, but only anonymously.

A man who has turned the lemons of his life into lemonade, time and time again.

A man who reads my blog faithfully, and gets more information about manicures and hair care than he will ever need.

A man who puts up with my stuff, and only wants the best for me

A man has my back, no matter what.

I often think of a line from one of the songs from my favorite movie,  the Sound of Music…

“Somewhere in my wicked childhood, I must have done something good.”

Happy 30TH to the light of my life. I can’t wait to see what the next 30 bring.

“All The Way”, Ed.

Have a lovely day ladies…..and love someone well today ~
